This was grandma's favorite oatmeal cookie recipe, made with oats, brown sugar, white sugar, flour, and shortening.

Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Shape dough by rounded spoonfuls into balls.Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon together. Roll balls of dough in mixture.
